The team
Racing Bulls is the second team in the Red Bull family, operating from Faenza, Italy — the factory that has raced as Minardi, Toro Rosso and AlphaTauri before its current identity. Its purpose has never really changed: develop drivers for the senior team, score respectable midfield points, and occasionally embarrass everyone with a result nobody predicted.
2026 season
This has been the year the junior team’s job description was tested in real time. Isack Hadjar’s promotion to Red Bull Racing left Liam Lawson and rookie Arvid Lindblad as the Faenza pairing — until Hadjar’s wrist injury pulled Lawson up to the senior car for three straight weekends, with Yuki Tsunoda called back from reserve duty to fill the gap. The team has been candid that the constant swapping is “not ideal” for development, and the resulting fight over who deserves which seat in 2027 is one of the driver market’s most watched subplots. Fifth in the constructors’ standings, comfortably best of the rest behind the big four, is a season the team will take.
